 This terms Caritas

Food for Fitness.
Children will learn together explore the common benefits of having a healthy diet, growing their own food and understanding how plants and crops grow and survive, looking at where and why they grow in these places.  The Cool Kids Cook guides them on their way, teaching them how to cook and how to write their own instructions, giving them a chance to cook some of their own healthy choices.  Through mono-printing they create their own images of the wonderful animals/fruit they discover and study Barbara Hepworth's beautiful natural sculptures. By learning the friendship song and the real opera 'The Magic Flute' in music they understand better how we care and respect one another. Finally, in computing they learn to programme the Micro-bits and communicate safely through the internet.
